PRICES
This section outlines private guiding services in Austria and across Europe, including bespoke tours, day trips and curated lecture programmes.

All services are designed for individual clients and small private groups.
Prices are quoted per group and apply outside the festival and Christmas period:
10 January 2026 – 30 July 2026 and 1 September 2026 – 20 December 2026.

Entrance fees, transport and any additional expenses are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • LECTURE SERIES
    “Introduction to Opera” — 400 € (1 hour)
    A private lecture offering a structured introduction to opera, tailored to the repertoire, festival context or specific productions.
  • FESTIVAL PERIOD
    31 July 2026 — 31 August 2026
    During the Salzburg Festival period, all services are charged at a flat rate of 220 € per hour.
  • PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS
    Up to 2 hours — 240 €
    Half day (up to 4 hours) — 390 €
    Full day (up to 8 hours) — 720 €
    Additional hour — 100 €

    For tours starting or ending outside Vienna, Salzburg or Munich, travel time and costs will be added.

    Headsets (mandatory for museum visits for groups of 10 or more) — 3 € per person
    At Schönbrunn Palace (Vienna), headsets are provided free of charge.
  • BESPOKE ITINERARIES & TRAVEL PLANNING
    Programmes based on existing tours are prepared without additional fee.

    Custom travel planning for Vienna, Salzburg or Munich —
    250 € for a 5-day itinerary + 50 € for each additional day.

    Highly customised itineraries with complex routing and detailed scheduling —
    from 800 € for a 5-day programme + 150 € per additional day.

    The planning fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
  • CONDITIONS
    Group size
    Walking tours — up to 25 guests
    Museum visits — usually limited to 20 guests

    Cancellation
    Free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled service.
